The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed during the heatwave when there were brush fires locally but were reassured by the hotel that they were far enough away. The swimming pool was a lovely place to relax.
The food and drinks were tasty but I felt they were overpriced. There was no air conditioning and only a fan in the room to move hot air around - not great during the heatwave.

A really good location with great bedrooms for families and good food and cocktails
but the pool was smallish and too many people in there in the hours available And the room was serviceable rather than truly comfortable. Also 4 wines was very limited for each colour

The reception area was good and the open fire made it very welcoming the bar service was also very nice
The room was very dated and musty. The shower in the bathroom you had to climb in the bath to use the shower all very dated. The breakfast (full English) eggs were dry been on heat too long
not enough choice for a buffet breakfast especially in the fruit dept and pastries

The location was good for us
Sheets were dirty, but changed quickly when stains were discovered! No gym, pool could only be used with kids at certain times which were super restrictive! Additional charge for using the spa facilitates of £30 pp per day! Restaurant not great value for money and overly seasoned, especially for kids. Overall very tired!

"Breakfast was great although the table we were at was quite unstable."
