This hotel was In beautiful settings with good facilities. The reception and walk through to the restaurants were really pretty with lots of seating areas
Our bedroom was lovely. It was booked as a room with a view and this was overlooking the golf course The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel was very busy with conferences whilst we were there which on occasion meant the reception area was really busy if the delegates were gathering or on a break.
Breakfast was nice and full cooked breakfast was available with good quality ingredients
Disappointing points though.
No egg station , the prepared fresh fruit selection was limited and only packet sliced bread was available

Hotel is beautiful. Huge room and bed. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
The shower wasn’t very hot so that could be improved.

The hotel is in a great location. The check-in was straightforward. The staff on check-in were attentive. the rooms were well appointed and comfortable.
There were a couple of things that didn’t quite work out. Our experience at breakfast was not good. I think we timed it badly because the breakfast room was very busy. Queues for the buffet breakfast, for the coffee, even to get toast were at least 10 minutes long at each station, which meant that food or coffee was going cold. Unfortunately, the food on the breakfast buffet was also not very warm so not a great experience at breakfast, which is a shame, given the size of the hotel and the number of rooms I would expect the breakfast buffet to be able to cope with an influx of customers. We also noticed outside a number of rooms that are obviously ordered room service, empty plates, cups, glasses, bottles, these didn’t get cleared away in the 24 hours that we were in the hotel, so I would suggest that there’s probably a case for rooms that are ordering room service for the team looking after that area to tidy up more quickly afterwards.
