Hinxton is a charming village,the Red Lion is set in the heart of it.The Red Lion oozed character,the beer gardens were attractive and our evening meal was delicious.
Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable.

The room was thoughtfully presented and the layout spacious. The accommodation was easily accessible situated a short distance away from the main building. Staff made every effort to ensure that we felt welcome and had everything that we required.

It had a lovely garden to sit in and relax. Some of the food was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We asked for a walk-in shower and we were assigned a rather pokey accessibility room. There were no shelves in the shower. The breakfast was patchy, no fruit, and we had to ask for spreads for the toast. It all felt a bit hit and miss, and overall it wasn’t an enjoyable experience.
