I have to say that Nethybridge Hotel provided an exceptional standard of service. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was a grand old building which was lovingly cared for. The area was beautiful.

Good location to explore the area.
Car park facilities very haphazard- poor surface and no markings. Lift was totally inadequate. No possibility of getting a wheelchair in to access upper floors. Advertising does claim there is lift access.

Breakfast - all in all the selection of food items was varied and well presented
Room - The garden view was pleasant enough
Dinner- extensive menu gave a wide variety of choice
Breakfast - a self service buffet was provided which meant that if you didn't serve yourself immediately then some of the food was lukewarm.
Room - it was described as a superior double room with a garden view, in my opinion the term "superior" was stretching it a bit. The TV didn't work properly. The pull switch in the bath room which was used to operate the extractor fan was unreachable to anyone under 6ft tall. No shower gel was provided. The wash hand was so small as to be almost unusable The room needed a good clean.
Dinner - some of the food was overcooked eg the lemon sole goujons , scampi
