We stayed in the Lodge 1, it was aesthetically really beautiful! The only downside is you can hear EVERYTHING from next door, which wasn’t too bad for us because it was just TV but I can imagine if you had a rowdy next door neighbour in the lodge you’d be extremely disappointed.
The Spa was beautiful and intimate it is a great escape for a couple… However, two elements of the shower didn’t work, the hydropool could use a bit of maintenance and a little bit of atmospheric music would be great (there is speakers). Besides this, it’s picturesque and relaxing facility.
Breakfast here is AMAZING like 10/10 the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. You have both a continental breakfast, and you have a made to order menu. I ordered the eggs florentine and my partner ordered the porridge, both were great.
This a hotel I’d definitely come back to and recommend for couples or friends looking for a relaxing getaway in the lakes :).
