The staff are helpful and friendly and clearly very attentive to keeping the hotel nice.
It’s exterior and surroundings are not great, it’s tired inside, lots of character but the photos on booking.com need updating as they do not reflect the true picture of the lounge/bar area. Carpets are in need of replacing but appreciate that this is all very costly.

Very helpful reception staff. Spacious comfortable room with wardrobe and table. Free parking and a 2 minute walk to the tram station.
The room itself was quite unattractive. Cheap furniture, brown peeling paint.

The buffet breakfast on the Saturday was good with options. Shower good and bathroom generally fine. Location good for trams and easy to park though the car park needs retarmaccing. Comfy bed and slept well, quiet but just hard to wake up with no natural light
Breakfast On the Friday morning it was ordered and the avocado on toast was a bit odd and not what you would expect. Guacamole on sliced bread. Felt like everything came out of a packet and not fresh. The bedroom had no windows which was not advertised when selecting that room and the aircon wasn't great. Lack of fresh air really made a difference and lack of natural light affected waking up well. Loads of stains on the carpet and general wear and tear, looked a little tired. Also quite small room - in no way compared to the photos/room advertised on Booking.com - windows and spacious!
