The hotel was old and quirky but very good .
The staff were mostly miserable, sue on check in , her face would turn milk sour , and restaurant manager had issues , the lady who was going to service our room was very pleasant and nice , staff in spar were nice to but us a fine hotel let down by lots of miserable staff.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, fabulous views
Had to walk to and from the station (uphill on the way to hotel). A courtesy lift would have improved this aspect
