Stayed before so we know the Southcrest is a very nice place to stay. Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Really need to put some sort of rail up in the shower we are elderly and struggled in and out scared of slipping. We did enquire about an accessible room but that has a double bed and we prefer a Twin room.

I like the fact that I can park my motorbike with confidence and have a room directly overlooking where it is parked. The breakfast is good and there are tea making facilities with biscuits in the rooms. Rileys curry house is in walking distance and served a very good curry; I felt comfortable walking there on my own from the hotel. The hotel has a nice relaxed feel and even though this time was much busier than my last stay, I managed to find a nice quiet armchair in the lounge to sit for a drink and the service remained good even with the volume of people.

The hot water status is poor. I do not want to stay at a venue where you have to run the bath tap for ten minutes to get hot water, and even then, no hot shower water. In addition, this is not evironmentally good, as that is a vast waste of water, which is a scarcity nowadays.
Room whilst tired was ckran and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was nice.
