Bit tired in the rooms

I was very close to the lift so thank you for that. The staff I found was so friendly at the reception. On my first nights stay (Friday) the staff in the restaurant area were really, really helpful and the fish meal was brilliant and did and would recommend it to family/friends. At breakfast the front line staff were really accommodating, friendly and never felt rushed. Best of all the location was excellent as it is situated to shops, bus/train, the city centre in walking distance so I will be recommending it to family/friends and will be booking it come back next year may the Almighty spare life!

I booked Friday to Sunday and then booked an extra day stay to Monday and had to change rooms and left my toothbrush which suctioned dot the mirror in the bathroom and was told they couldn’t find it, I would have rather been told they threw it in the been because I left it there and not been lied to! Booking the hotel would have been nice if I could have been able to allocate the floor and room I would have liked because I felt I was up too high just in case of an emergency! I had to ask for bin bags for the bathroom bin which I thought would be standard especially for an accessible room! I found the carpet in the room dirty from the stains which look off putting and look like it needed a real deep clean. The breakfast was not up to scratch because the cook couldn’t make me an omelette to what I asked, had to send it back twice until I just gave up and had to have cold breakfast. I don’t eat pork or veggie sausage and would feel by now you should be able to offer fish fingers, chicken/lamb sausages as an alternative. Also the food (hash browns, mushrooms, beans) I found was warm rather than hot! I couldn’t stay at your hotel in the winter months! I also feel I should be able to book an accessible parking space when booking my accessible room! The accessible room I found was not big enough to accommodate me as I had to access my suitcase from the floor as there is nowhere to put it so that’s its on an accessible level! Bending on the floor to have get in an out of the suitcase and lifting it onto the bed which I find is not hygenic is hard work! If I had brought my wheelchair/rollator there would not have been enough room for them in the room! Not all disable people require a wet floor room and could do with a bath to soak their joints/muscles after long day(s). I wished the swimming pool could have been in use.
