It was excellently placed for the centre of Stratford
A bit dated. Heating didn’t work properly. The sink in our room was cracked and was missing bits off the hot tap.

The restaurant is really good and the breakfast as well. The gym has everything needed and the 18 m pool is really nice for a daily training.
The location is perfect for visiting Stratford Upon Avon.
The building and the rooms especially are a bit outdated, they need a refresh in a lot of parts.
There's no a smart TV in the bedrooms, it seems unreal to me nowadays.
The WiFi was not covering the entire building and sometimes there was not connection at all.
The parking is not free and it actually costs quite a bit and it also annoyed me that I had to handle it by myself with the smartphone, it is not something the hotel takes care for you.

Place was clean, nice manor style
I prefer more modern, squeaky clean bathrooms

Breakfast was good. Dinner was disappointing in that we had a very limited choice but were restricted to a spend of £25 if accepted a wider choice. Location was chosen for its convenience to town and theatre.
See restrictions above on dinner. The room no. 12 was very dark and had only one small light, apart from bedside lights. The heated towel rail did not come on and there was no switch. BBC channels did not function on tv. Overall disappointing for a 4star hotel
