Breakfast ok but only scrambled eggs on offer.
Location fantastic.
Dirty carpet and dusty in the room.
Felt a bit grubby.

We stayed in a spacious junior suite with our 2 year old and a fantastic view of the lido. Plenty of space for a child to potter about.
Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great spot for accessing the village. The lido and sauna were also fantastic.
Sofa bed in our room was quite noisy and not very comfortable. Would have perhaps expected some higher end or local toiletries and coffee/tea facilities given the price (Dove and Nescafe...).

It was in a good location to access Matlock bath on foot.
This hotel was very tired, we paid for a junior suite and the carpets were filthy with stains as were the pillows, furnitures. It was very tired and long overdue an update. Even the window had smashed glass.
