We had a lovely stay at the White Hart Hotel in Lincoln. The reception staff and the rest of the team were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived.
The hotel has a cosy, traditional British countryside charm. The bathrooms have been nicely renovated and were clean and pleasant. The food was delicious, and breakfast was beautifully presented. However, the waiting time for breakfast ordered from the menu was far too long and could definitely be improved.
The bedrooms are quite small, and while the hotel’s traditional character is part of its charm, the rooms themselves could benefit from a little modernisation and some updated furniture to make them feel fresher and more contemporary.
Overall, it is a lovely, old-fashioned British hotel with friendly staff, good food and plenty of character. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy, traditional hotel in Lincoln.
The bedrooms were very small and a little dated, and could benefit from more modern furniture. The hotel was also quite noisy, with street noise, late-night bottle disposal and sounds from people walking through the corridors. The waiting time for breakfast ordered from the menu was excessively long and could definitely be improved.

We enjoyed the whole experience. The history, the location amazing. The staff were exceptional and the facilities were perfect. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the variety of choices was extensive. A bonus is the carparking facilities, considering the central location of the hotel.
I have nothing negative to say. I just wish our stay was longer.

Great location, well maintained historic hotel. Good range of communal areas for a drink including a quieter bar area
Outside Room 201 is a fire door which bangs very loudly. We raised that with hotel staff when we left - hopefully they get it fixed

Location
Hotel very tired, bedroom dull, too large and impersonal.
On top of the overly expensive stay, breakfast was extra, I left a phone charger behind, and had to pay postage to get it back. TV in room did not work, lighting was not fully working.
