It was almost all great.
No shade around pool, sunbeds on roof, the small unbrellas hardly blocked out sun or heat which made it unusable for us as a family but looked great and one can get drinks there.
We arrived in the evening and had to wait an hour to be served for our room key. Only 2 people ahead of us, so unacceptable.

-Staff was very kind, we could not find the parking place and they explained this to me via phone in a very kind way.
-We had a lovely view on the Sierra Nevada
-The room was very large, quiet, clean and bed was very comfortable! King size bed!
-Breakfast did not meet our standards! This is a 5 star hotel. However, fruit was not fresh and selection was poor. Healthy breakfast options were missing ( we would encourage the hotel to include a larger variety and higher quality of fresh fruit and vegetables in their breakfast buffet). Moreover, scrambled eggs were not meeting our taste at all...probably too much milk or cream.... it's a pity , because we are sure that with a few tweaks the breakfast could be way better and meet the hotel standards!

Rooms were spacious, reception area was nice
There was a bad smell on level 3, it was quite unpleasant. There was also hairs in the bathroom, in the bath and on the floor. The room was very dark, with dark furniture, small window didn’t let much light in. The receptionist gave me no information about breakfast times or even where the breakfast room was. She made me wait while she checked in several flight crew which took quite some time even though I was there before them. She said she had to wait for the reservation to come through from booking.com . I had confirmation immediately from booking .com so I’m sure she would have it too. Other reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
