Hotel is clean, very well kept, though room carpets are a little worn out. Apartment we had was spacious with high ceilings and big windows. Lots of amenities and shopping around and on Leipziger Strasse. It's at a walkable distance to the center. During our stay the street was mired in road work, so it was a problem for cars to come and pick us up straight from the hotel, but I guess this will pass one day :-) If you ignore the ugly GDR style buildings lining up Leipziger strasse it is a very nice and upscale neighborhood. Hotel facilities pool, sauna and hot tub are really good. Americans be aware: in Germany people use the sauna in their birthday suits, don't be shocked :-)
Room is a bit on the dark side, not enough lighting power. Coffe making is just a French press and hotel does not replenish the coffee, some kitchen lights not working and refrigerator very old without ice cudes tray, so for ice you have to go to the bar on the ground level. TV has a single English language channel and no options for streaming or be able to log in into your steraming accounts. Still these are minor things we would be happy to stay there again given the chance to happen in Berlin once more

It was a well appointed and spacious suite. Although the kitchen was tucked in a corner and a bit cramped, it really had everything we needed for a short stay. We were able to eat nice breakfasts in the room, saving us lots of money. We even cooked a dinner one evening. The location was perfect, near lots of restaurants and the subway. It was especially convenient for watching the Berlin marathon. Would definitely consider returning.

Spacious, comfortable apartment and facilities were great. Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was decent.
Breakfast had limited healthy options.

Large apartments in an excellent location.
Poor value for money.
The property is expensive compared to other places in the area, yet the value it offers is quite low.
We canceled another booking after seeing that Berlin was expected to be extremely hot. We chose this property because it explicitly stated that the apartments were equipped with air conditioning. In reality, it is more of a ventilation system than actual air conditioning, and it is unable to cope with the heat. We were very disappointed by this.
The apartment is poorly maintained, with torn curtains and an overall condition that is below an acceptable standard.
