This hotel is the epitome of elegance and style, with professional, attentive, well-trained staff. The concierge, in particular, was so helpful, making sure I got the best Dresdner Stollen! The breakfast was wonderful, as was the entire staff in the breakfast area. They offer a buffet as well as an a la carte menu. The location of the Taschenberg Palais is unparalleled: you exit the hotel and are face-to-face with the Zwinger and Semperoper! One can walk just about anywhere, and it's about a 20-minute walk from the station. No need for a vehicle.
What might have been better would have been if the restaurants, like Amelie, had had a few whole food, plant-based options.
