A pleasant surprise – small but clean, comfortable and cosy!
At first, I was a little surprised when I entered the hotel. It is quite small and narrow, and my first impression was that it didn't really feel like a typical hotel. However, my opinion quickly changed, and I ended up really enjoying my stay!
One of the first things I appreciated was the neutral smell throughout the hotel – there was absolutely no unpleasant odour of an old building. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
The bed was large and spacious, with a really comfortable duvet and two different types of pillows – one large and firm, and another smaller and soft. I absolutely loved this combination!
The bathroom had lovely NUXE toiletries, and the towels were fresh, clean and pleasantly scented.
Breakfast was modest in variety but very classic and perfectly adequate. All the usual breakfast essentials were available, including a warm omelette and bacon, which was a nice touch.
Although the location is very convenient for public transport, I didn't feel particularly comfortable in the surrounding neighbourhood. Walking back to the hotel after dark made me feel uneasy, and I personally didn't feel safe in the area.
Another major downside was the price. I booked through Booking.com approximately six months in advance and paid almost €300 per night. However, just one week before my stay, the same hotel was available for around €100 per night. That is an enormous difference, and I honestly feel that €300 per night is far too expensive for a hotel of this category.
The breakfast area is also extremely small, with only a few tables. If they are all occupied, you may find yourself with nowhere to sit and enjoy your breakfast.

We loved the bed, it was spacious and comfortable. It was the perfect location for a long day of travel and late night arrival, as the location was perfect. They went above and beyond and left us chocolate marshmallows in the room which was a wonderful surprise and very much appreciated as it was my birthday the next day, so a real treat!
The stairs were steep and narrow, but most steps in Paris are, so just proceeded with caution.

Good location, close to the metro station and the city centre. The breakfast was tasty, but limited. The beds were comfortable, the room size was fine, and everything was clean and well maintained.
The dining area was extremely small and it was difficult to move around comfortably. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for families with children.

Location, coffee machine, most staff were friendly
Very small lift, poor signage for the stairs, smelt stagnate smell. Stairs not accessible to foyer unless used card where there was no signage, train noise overnight. Lighting poor and no bedside lights or power access on each side of bed. Also television site not good above someone’s bed,
Checking in very slow and dirty plate at desk not a great first impression had to ask for Wi-Fi password had to ask go a third cup even though booked for three people
