Lovely and grand seaside hotel. The proximity to the Saint Malo train station is excellent and it is directly on the waterfront of a beautiful beach with close walking access maybe a 20 minute walk to the old city. Definitely has that 19th century ‘ the doctor prescribed me some fresh air’ vibes which we loved. We had a regular room with a garden view and we’re perfectly happy with the room itself. We didn’t need an ocean view to enjoy our stay because you see the ocean from everywhere in the property all of the common areas and the ocean is literally steps away.
Nothing. For some reason, I thought there was going to be an outdoor swimming pool, but there is not it’s indoors which is fine.

The proximity to the beach
As a guest I thought I would be able to use the restaurant. Unfortunately they couldn’t find room for the 2 of us. We had to get a taxi into Saint Malo. At least it was nice to see the city
