The room was very good. The happy hour and chocolate tasting session is fantastic.
The hotel is located high on a high which was challenging when walking from the city. The parking was expensive.

We loved everything! Chocolate heaven, friendly faces, fab location and wonderful rooms. Everyone was wonderful. The coffee in the rooms was great and the treats everyday of chocolate. Great quality and such sweet touches everywhere. I loved the rooms, so large and cosy. The soaps, the reception etc in the room were lovely quality. Perfect balance of class and homeliness. <3 Thank you all for making such a lovely trip.
only thing is the no cold water in the fridge, we understand no plastic, but a glass of refillable water in the fridge would be a much welcomed nice touch. I did dip in the pool was a little cold, so went in sauna but otherwise perfect & all good!

Location, views and the dinner was really lovely. I asked to move to a window when other diners moved and this was accommodated. Love the homemade biscuits and tea in reception.
The chocolate hour was a waste of time. The kids made a mess, adults grabbed all the fruit and the chocolate was oily. I package slice was something you could get yourself. I would skip the chocolate hour if I went back. Staff on the main desk were of their generation.

It has been done up. Website looked good. Nice meal.
Service was good!
Bathroom stupid glass door. We both got locked in. It would be scary if you were a single traveller. Had to change rooms!
The price of $500 for 1 night was outrageous- definitely not worth it! I think it was because WOW was on!
