Clean, convenient and friendly. The hotel felt really safe and welcoming and the location was ideal.
I think the room could have a better selection of teas, coffee milk. We had to ask for more.

We had a great stay at the Novotel in Paddington which was located close to Paddington station with easy access to the city via the Elizabeth line. We were upgraded to a deluxe room at check-in which was a lovely surprise. The staff were so nice and accommodating and the room was spacious and comfortable with a fridge and kettle provided. The bathroom was also large and modern. Overall, the room was modern, very clean and conveniently located close to restaurants, shops, and cafes.

The hotel is within a few minutes walk from Paddington station which is convenient. There are eateries and supermarkets such as Marks & Spencers nearby.
The hotel is undergoing renovations but not made known on booking.com before booking is confirmed and payment is made. I was placed in a room on 9/F and the renovations were going on 11/F. The drilling and hammering noise is unbearable, and I could hardly hear the other end of the line when I was on the phone. I complained to the reception and the staff said all the rooms were affected in the same way and heavy drilling would finish that day. Of course its not the case. They only changed me to a lower level room after 2 nights. No manager showed up to make any explanation.
When showering, the water will splash outside the shower room and the floor will be all wet.
