The hotel is visually charming in a very nice location, close to lots of local shops and cafes. The room was large, clean and comfortable - the beds were one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The laundry facilities were very welcome and easy to use. Staff were welcoming and very helpful.
It describes itself as offering a "boutique" stay, but I'm not sure I felt that. The room was fine, but average. The sink was blocked, but I reported it. The mugs provided for hot drinks have no handles - minor point, but very inconvenient.
