Warm and welcoming. Easy walk into town. Great shuttle service if you want to eat in town in the evening. Plenty of parking. Room was spacious and our river views also gave us a great cathedral landmark view too.

Riverside view was spectacular in the sunshine. Worth the extra money. Lovely big room - great bed. I loved that they have a free shuttle bus into town and back (not that we used it; the walk isn't at all far). Also, no food on site, but they have a great list of restaurants and takeaways. We had pizza from Nole - pretty good, although a long wait.
Nothing!

Room was on the top floor and no lifts. Bed was a bit to hard for me but that's my personal preference. I arrived at dark so couldn't see much of the view and was leaving early the next day. The breakfast was ok the cooked items looked either under cooked or over cooked so tended to stay away from it. Overall disappointing.
The bar area was just the area used for breakfast so no atmosphere just tables. Breakfast was disappointing.

Reasonable size room and a good view over to Salisbury Cathedral. Beds OK
There was no internal phone system. Could not contact reception or housekeeping.
This mattered because the hot water failed in the hotel due to a central breakdown. While I accept these things happen we could not contact reception who made no effort to contact us. We were badly kept advised and when I enquired what they would do if the water was not restored the reception staff had no idea. Fortunately it was reinstated
The internal lighting in the bedroom was totally inadequate.i require a decent light to read by and there was not one in this room
Breakfast was a buffet and adequate. Eggs were overcooked.
Could not get a hot coffee in the bar after 9.30 on a Saturday night as the coffee machine was cleaned overnight in the kitchen.the bar was otherwise deserted.
There was no restaurant but there were signs up outside offering lunch deals. Nothing was mentioned to us in the hotel
