Very well situated. Service from reception was excellent.
The service at breakfast and dinner was slow and unfriendly.
There were multiple issues with a broken safe beeping though the night and broken bathroom door.

Good location. Right next to the Historical Museum and Gamla Stan. Tea kettle in the room. Nice cups. Great view from the window. Nice bathrobe.
It was cold in the room. I rang the reception and no one answered, so I had to dress up and go down. Some of the restaurant waiters found the receptionist. They promised to make the temperature higher. I went up but nothing happened. The room stayed cold and I could not rdgulate the temperature. It would not have been such a problem were it not for the old windows. It was impossible to sit in the draft. THhe curtains were moving from the wind.
Be warned that they have a very funny soap in the bathroom. It is heavily perfumed and NOT hyperallergic. I suffer from food allergies but never had expected to get a swollen face and neck from a soap. I had my medicine in my bag and all ended well, but it all was quite unpleasant.
In the bath there was no handle to grip; I slipped and hit my knee.
Also, there seems to be an unnecessary number of all sorts of steps -- in the corridor and in the middle of the room (which was quite narrow).
The light switch is funny. It does not switch off completely unless you hit it hard and holit it once. I had to call and get someone to fix it.
Overall, I had expected a better experience for the pile of money I payed -- there is a lot of fuss around -- the staff are nice and helpful but no one seems to be responsible for snything. The overall management is poor. Many a three-star hotels provide better services: a warm room, a properly sealed window, light switches that work, safe bathrooms and a soap that does not try to kill you.
I was very disappointed. I had only one day in Stockholm after a conference, I wanted to make myself a treat but spent half a night trying to solve basic household problems. The hotel has obviously seen better days.
