A beautiful cave hotel in a superb central location - everything Matera has to offer is on hand. Paula and Francisco are wonderful hosts, very warm and kind and caring. Our room was to die for - so much space and wonderfully atmospheric. Their attention to detail and their eye for design is exceptional - everything has been thought through and catered for. Thank you for a wonderful experience - we will never forget it.

EVERYTHING! Without doubt the best hotel I have stayed at. Ever. The location, the view, the room layout, quality of fittings and finishes, the bed and bed linen were all top notch. Excellent breakfast was served in a cave room. The hosts Paula and Francesco were charming and could not have been more helpful. 12 out of 10 all round.
