My friend and I weren't interested in partying late, so we were looking for a quiet place that was close enough to the heart of it all. Lisheen Lodge was ideal! A short walk from everything we wanted to see, and very close to Tesco (because I forgot to pack an umbrella). The breakfast was just what we needed to get our day started. And Vinny was a wonderful host -- he helped us to feel at ease as soon as we arrived. I'll definitely consider staying here again if I ever make it back to Galway.

The location and room were great. Host Vinnie was exceptional. He gave us wonderful recommendations of things to experience which made our time there even richer. He also shared some great stories.
Only the towels. Maybe it was the detergent used?

the location was perfect and the host was quite wonderful. Good continental breakfast. I told the host that I am a vegan and the second day he had almond milk for me.
The room was maybe the smallest we have ever stayed in. It was claustrophobic. The bathroom was so small that we had to duck our heads down under the shelf by the sink to brush our teeth (after first hitting our heads on the shelf). There was no TV. Also, the drains in sink and shower were not clean.
