Our 5-star-rated premier, in-town vacation rental property on Nantucket Island is within a short walk of Main Street's shops, restaurants, attractions and activities and thus has become home for a number of regular guests who simply love the amenities, charm, convenience and hospitality of a well-cared-for vacation rental sanctuary with everything you might need to make the perfect getaway for a few days, a week or even longer. There is still limited availability during our 2026 season and now our 2027 season is open for bookings as well, so please take a look at our offerings and let us know if we can help make your visit to our island special. We'd love to welcome you at Tuck't in Back Cottage, one of Nantucket's most sought-after and delightful in-town stay options for one to maximally two adults.

Tuck't in Back Cottage consists of a bi-level "Nantucket Cottage" where you can relax and enjoy a in-town location close to Main Street but without the noise and concentration of island vacationers and day trip visitors...yet walk to the heart of the action within minutes.

The Cottage's lower level consists of a welcoming tiled mudroom containing your own private laundry facilities and access to the upstairs apartment. The spacious upper full-floor, studio apartment features a king bed, drop-leaf dining table, comfy living room seating and recently renovated, state-of-the-art bathroom and kitchen. The marble and tile bathroom includes a large shower stall with rain shower head and hand controls, a lovely vanity sink and commode and is supplied with premium toiletries and plenty of storage with extra bath and beach towels. The updated kitchen includes a stainless-steel refrigerator-freezer with automatic ice maker, top-of-line dishwasher, solid surface range and oven, and an array of smaller appliances (microwave, automatic drip coffeemaker, automatic can opener, toaster oven) along with every conceivable kitchen aid and houseware item you might need to make your visit pleasurable. Cable TV and WiFi is provided at no additional charge.

Outside you can enjoy your own private sundeck, barbecue grill, outdoor shower, secure bike storage area and use of all types of beach equipment, not to mention a designated off-street in-town parking space if you're bringing or renting a vehicle on the island.

We think you'll agree that Tuck't in Back Cottage's amenities and convenience provide our guests a much better value than that of other costly island hotels or inns.

Please inquire today with any questions you may have and reserve before all our available dates become a thing of the past. We look forward to welcoming you at Tuck't in Back Cottage on beautiful Nantucket Island soon for a first or repeat visit, which understandably may very well become a tradition of yours for years to come...Nantucket has that effect on people!

Please tell us a little about yourselves and the purpose of your visit when requesting a reservation so we may help you assess whether our property is the right option for you. Also, please refer to our sample lease for complete rental terms.

We look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks for reading this far!

Sincerely,
David & Jeffrey
