Location! The view from the verandah of the villa was sensational. You can see right across the bay and on a lovely sunny day, I am sure the waters would glisten. The staff were friendly and made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was adequate with a good range of choices from hot foods to fruit and cereal. The staff also produced a warm banana bread. The rooms were clean and the decor is suited to the ocean landscape - lovely timber floors. Aircon was effective and there was plenty of hot water. The Room is also provided a little mini bar with peanuts, flavoured milk, soft drink and beer.. I think there was also wine and water available to in the room. The pool is a good size and there is a range of activities you can do from the site. You can book it through the staff. The local village girls came to their site and did a range of island dances for free from across Melanesia. Recommend staying here!
The rubbers in the shower could be changed, but everything else was suited to the Price range.

The view was amazing. The bed was comfortable.
The reception on arrival was a bit disorganized as was the office.
There were tea bags in our room but no milk.
Was told to use coffee creamer!
Eventually persuaded the staff to provide milk. It seemed to be a big issue.
The floors were very dirty even after the daily cleaning.
The pool was lovely but inadequate pool furniture. The water was not clear and the tiles were slippery. Something wrong with the pool cleaning products possibly.

Really lovely location, very quiet and peaceful. Really lovely staff. Has a nice little pool and harbour area. Well organised villas and nice shower. Staff are great with transfers and advice. Food tasty and large menu options, breakfast good - basics there with a local dishes. The snorkeling gear and kayaking free with room. Easy booking. Very effective aircon. Wifi good for basic things, movies limited access.
Great for a short stop in a quiet and dry part of Fiji. Kitchenette had microwave, kettle and basic cutlery with lots or storage around. Locally grown food from their garden and farm used for their restaurant.
Local shops nearby.
You really need a car to get here or a good transfer.
If your driving, be prepared for unsealed roads with pot holes.
Quite expensive for additional extras such as drinks, transfer and laundry. Mini bar and food expenisive but average for a more upmarket hotel.
The snorkeling needs to be done elsewhere as its very murky water around the harbour.
Unfortunately, a bit like what I've seen in a lot of Fiji hotels, the cleaning standards just knock it down. the toilet, sink and shower glass to my room wasn't cleaned properly - looked like it had be done in a hurry last minute. The inter-room door to someone else's villa was open and not locked. The linen was clean but had stains on and towels clean but still very damp. The toilets facilities were ok but locks, taps or soap dispenser might be broken or not checked.
Unfortunately at the moment you have the faint noise of works being down outside as they're building more villas, so the top villas will get machine noise during the day.
