Location convenient to Port Denarau. The adults only pool and restaurant
Communication left a bit to be desired. I had booked on booking.com, then had some questions so sent both text and email directly to the Hilton but got no replies. Hence there was some confusion when we arrived

Great location, amazing outlook (ocean front), very appealing resort set-up
It felt expensive for what it actually is (this might not be specific to The Hilton; perhaps Fiji has just become far more expensive generally). We were there with family and despite requesting rooms within close proximity, we were not at all close (the resort sprawl a long distance end-to-end). Service was inconsistent and came down to the individual person, rather than an ingrained culture of high quality service, which doesn’t align with the price we pay to be there. They also had quite significant construction happening on site that we’d not been aware of (would have been polite to give guests a heads up). My elderly mum was out in a room adjoining the construction, so was woken early every morning - perhaps couldn’t have been helped, but it wasn’t at all ideal (again, not what you expect for $1,000 per night). We left feeling a bit disappointed.
