I was booked on an early morning ferry from Cairnryan so I wanted to stay close to the port. The Swan Inn is only a 10 minute drive away. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Decent room with a comfy bed, good hot shower and it was very reasonable priced.
For the price paid I have no negatives.

I arrived late after a long days driving. Nick had text me earlier to advise check in etc. The swan is closed Mon to Weds but if you require food and drinks you can gain a discount at other locations in town run by same people. I picked up something to eat on my way there. Entry was no problem and I parked my vehicle safely in the side street next to the Swan. Nice hot shower and toiletries provided. Value for money and 100% happy with everything as advertised. Thank you Nick. I was leaving very early to catch my ferry.
I have no complaints or issues with the Swan.
My only bit of grief was with the people in next room. Sooooo noisy but I was that tired I fell asleep anyway.

Too basic, only one window, no view. No proper parking, had to park on the street. No food option, nearest restaurant was too loud, too full and too busy.
