Very helpful, welcoming and friendly staff. The room was bright and spacious and our bed was huge and very comfortable. It's a pet friendly hotel - a dog bed and bowl were provided. We'd brought our own dog bed as Maya is quite a large dog but theirs would be fine for a smaller dog. The breakfast is a full buffet with plenty of choice from fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, to cooked eggs, bacon, ham and cheese with bread and pastries. The location is good and a walkable distance from the centre. There are buses nearby too though you can't take bigger dogs on, only ones you can carry apparently. So we couldn't use them.
For us the only thing lacking was a lounge/bar and restaurant in the hotel.

Great value for money in pleasant location about 20 minute walk along the riverside to the 'town'. We were looking for a reasonable priced hotel and we were not disappointed, everything was as our expectation. All the staff were helpful and the hotel provided a good base for our one night stopover, comfortable room, nice breakfast.

All the staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming! The room was bright, clean, and everything worked well. The location was ok, a little far out but we knew that when we booked and it is still walkable into the old town. Despite being near a somewhat busy road we couldn’t hear any traffic.
Breakfast was also ok given the price.
The noise coming between the rooms was awful, we could hear people walking around and talking in adjacent rooms, and could hear the room next door opening their curtains. The hotel allows pets and there was also a dog staying somewhere in the hotel that we could hear barking for 30 minutes every morning, obviously it’s not the hotels fault that it was barking but the soundproofing was so bad that we could hear it very clearly.
Also there’s no separate bathroom door, just sliding glass for the toilet and shower!
