Where to begin... at best a 3 and half star place 5 stars totally overrated. The place has a second name Suvarnabhumi Luxury Hotel The room they gave me was smallish, only one main light switch, either all on or all off Incredible Airplane noise Bad breakfast The restaurant is a counter with very limited choice, hardly anything if you are vegetarian There's nothing much in the neighborhood,a couple of streetfood stalls and a fastfood place, one 7/11 About 30km from the airport and there is nothing around to do at all. When i asked if they could call me a taxi I was told to go to the street and get one myself. Ok, so I walked around and waited for half an hr before it became clear that there were no taxis coming thru these backstreets. Another 2 km left to the highway where I finally was luckier. Taxi from the airport was about 180 baht. You have to give a deposit of 1000 baht when you check in which you will get back. Could also be in dollars. The worst is that this place caters mainly to Chinese tour groups who ravage and plunder loudly and rudely the breakfast buffet at 7 am. Wi-Fi was good but hot water takes a long time. The pool is 5m long, more a children thing at best. The shuttle leaves only every 90 minutes and only till 2 pm and must be booked the day before. There are many much better places for similar or even less money closer to the airport yet still much quieter. So, good luck.....😉
