About this apartment rental
You'll enjoy your time on the Gulf in this family complex with on-site security. Ocean Reef is a low density complex centrally located in Gulf Shores but has no elevator. The building is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Your 3rd floor 1570 sq ft townhouse has an updated kitchen which includes granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Enjoy traditional furniture in bright colors with flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom. You have a direct view of the swimming pool from your balcony.
The complex has a coin-operated laundry facility on-site and grilling area. Parking is limited to 2 cars one assigned spot and one general parking. Ocean Reef has it all for a wonderful family vacation! This is a nonsmoking property and monthly reservations are available October to March 1.
During the spring break season, between the dates of March 1 through April 30 of each year, the person booking the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must be present to physically check in at our office with your government issued ID present.

Excellent location. Nice unit. Would stay here again. Only issues were the tv in downstairs bedroom did not work and floors were not clean when we arrived. Building manager was hard to find. Not in office much at all.

We had a good vacation overall, and I want to start by recognizing the property management team. Before our stay, there was a recent review mentioning bed bugs, which understandably caused concern. Abby was exceptional; she was responsive, transparent, coordinated with the pest control company, answered every question we had, arranged an additional inspection before our arrival, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Their customer service was truly 5 stars.Unfortunately, the condo itself didn’t match that same standard. While functional, it felt dated and not as clean as we expected for the price. There are a few things that stood out - cracked shower liner upstairs and areas all throughout where paint was cracked and peeling. The kitchen utensils and some of the cookware also appeared dirty or worn, making us feel like the unit could benefit from a much deeper cleaning and some updating.The location is great, and the condo has a lot of potential, but at this price point we expected a cleaner, more well-maintained property. There are likely more updated rentals in the area that offer better overall value. If the owners invested in some renovations and refreshed the cleanliness and maintenance, this could easily become a much stronger rental.
