Beautiful view, lovely people who keep the hotel running and make everything possible

A beautiful historic house now converted to a stylish and very friendly B&B. The guardians Imma and Lucia deserve special call out as they made our stay so special. The fresh and homemade breakfast dishes - including eggs and daily freshly baked cakes - are wonderful. The house and its lovely grounds (including above ground pool) are not accessible by road and the nearest roadhead is perhaps 10 minutes walk (up or down a steep slope with steps). This makes the Villa a very quiet base and great value by Amalfi standards, but it is not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues. Luggage transfers (by donkey) can be arranged by the Villa at €10 per suitcase.

Imma and the ladies who run Villa Ami do an exceptional job. Communication prior to our arrival was fantastic, the location isn't exactly roadside, so we were met in person and advised where to park. The views from the villa are superb, the accommodation itself is of a very high standard, very clean, tidy and well equipped. We had breakfast every morning, all made with fresh local ingredients, again the service provided by Imma & co on this was brilliant.
There is nothing I could pick whatsoever as a negative about this property or the service provided.
