Located in Scala, just a 4-minute walk from the bus stop, this hotel couldn’t have been more convenient for us. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the service. It’s a small hotel, but honestly, the experience was so much better than what you’d get at many big hotels.
The minibar is fully stocked, food is available throughout the day, and the rooms are cleaned twice a day! There’s even a lovely warm jacuzzi on the terrace, which was such a nice touch. :)
Ravello, a beautiful little town, is the closest place to visit, while Amalfi is just a 30-minute bus ride away. Having a car is definitely helpful if you want to head to Ravello for lunch or dinner, or drive down to Maiori for a day at the beach.
While most hotels charge €25–30 per day for parking, this hotel offers it for free. The breakfast deserves a special mention — it’s absolutely amazing, unlimited, and can even be ordered to your room at no extra cost.
What really sets this place apart, though, is how genuinely thoughtful and hospitable they are. They’re not money-minded at all, and some of the items we used from the minibar were simply marked as complimentary. When we had to leave early for the airport, they even prepared a breakfast bag for us at 5 AM!
A special mention to Francesca, our lovely host, who is incredibly sweet and always goes out of her way to help. She genuinely makes you feel welcome and never seems to say no to anything you need.

We had a very nice stay. The breakfast was delicious with different warm and cold options and it is enjoyed on the terrace that has the most spectacular view. The staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had etc. One day we went to the beach and could borrow a beach bag with towels etc. which was nice.
From the hotel it's a short walk into the town of Scala from where you can take a bus to Ravello and Amalfi. We had our own car which made travelling easier, but the bus was also convenient.
The coastal towns felt quite touristy while we were here which was expected because of high season, but there are many lovely small towns in the area to visit. It was nice that HOTEL ZI'NTONIO was located further away from the touristy coast and it made our stay much more enjoyable. The neighbouring town of Ravello was lovely and we recommend visiting Villa Cimbrone for the beautiful garden and spectacular view.
There's nothing to add here. Everything exceeded our expectations.

My partner and I arrived in Scala to get married and we couldn’t have made a better choice for our stay. From the staff, to the food, to the stunning views it was spectacular. A special mention to Stefano for going above and beyond to make our stay so special and Giuseppe for his amazing knowledge and passion for the local cuisine. We will 100% return in the near future. Thanks for everything guys.
