The studio was affordable, modern, and well-equipped with basic appliances, including a fridge, cooktop, and air conditioning. The location was convenient, around 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre and not too far from the train station. Overall, a decent option for a short stay in Zagreb.
Unfortunately, the service and comfort were disappointing. Despite requesting early check-in when booking, I received no proper update until just 10 minutes before the scheduled 4 pm check-in. (Which is really late for a Check in even more considering that the check out is at 10 am ) When I asked about luggage storage, I was directed to the train station, despite a convenient storage facility being available just across the road In the shopping centre.
The bedding was poor quality and old, with small cushions instead of proper pillows, rough and worn bed linen, and unpleasantly scented of cheap fibre softener, No bath towels were displayed in the bed, just a hand towel and face towel. I had to scavenge hunt the property to try to find a bigger towel, and I found it inside the wardrobe, and they were not even big enough. Also, they were old and once being white, because now they are stained and greyish coloured, and the material was rough and they smell the same as the bedding. The lighting switches were plenty around the room and very confusing, and the internet router's flashing light directly faced the bed is definitely not ideal.
Overall, the studio is affordable and conveniently located, but comfort and attention to guests' needs are clearly lacking. Fine for a basic stay, but not ideal if you value a good night's sleep and decent service.
