Beachy Keen was an excellent home for our large family and our annual vacation! The communication with the owner and manager was excellent. The home accommodated our large family perfectly. There were only three concerns that we had. (1) We had were multiple incidents with large and small roaches both inside and outside the home. (2) The bbq pit was much too dirty to use. (3) As far as a "stocked pantry" there was only salt, pepper and cooking spray available. The kitchen utensils and pots and pans could probably be replaced. Overall, we made it work after visiting the nearby Dollar General that sells just about everything. The home sits on a corner lot so expect it to be noisy but when you're tired from being on the beach all day, you knock out and don't hear it anymore. The pool was large and private so that was a huge bonus. The downstairs master suite is great, as well as all the other rooms upstairs. Would I recommend this home: yes! Would we stay here again: absolutely! The location, price, size of the home, pool and proximity to the beach was wonderful! :)

We rented this beach house for our family of 7 and it was perfect. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children under 5. The private pool was used every day and was perfect for us.

The photos were very flattering to a just ok property. A couple of the kitchen utensils were broken ex) can opener and the neighborhood is very crowded and loud and we were there off season mid week. To top off our stay the downstairs Masters bedroom had MANY tree roaches everywhere any time it got dark. The place definitely needs to be spayed for bugs. The property manager was 15 minutes late to meet us after being so insistent that we not waste her time. The positives were upstairs was nice with multiple bedrooms with clean comfy beds!
