The location is perfect, you're literally in the city core, right next to the church and 5 minutes away from the castle. Parking is in the inner yard, safe and private. Breakfast is good and the hosts are very nice and helpful.
Our initial room was damaged from the previous guests so we were moved to the bigger room. Everything was okay in the room, but it didn't have any chairs, or table or anything. It was okay for a night, but it meant that if you're in the room you have to go straight to bed.

This was wonderful. Petra and Andrej are fabulous hosts - welcoming, knowledgeable, and so friendly. The location was perfect - we were right opposite the clocktower, and right below the castle. Breakfast was really, really good; lots of options and delicious coffees. I hadn't told Petra or Andrej that I was vegetarian prior to our arrival, but there was plenty for me to eat. When she realized that I was veggie, she felt embarrassed that she hadn't provided me with more things to choose from. Which made me laugh because I was clutching my stomach from packing in all the deliciousness that she'd spread out. Petra even made me a list of her favorite sites in the region and urged me to contact them before we go back so that she could give us some more ideas for future travel. They are really lovely people (as are all the other people we met in Ptuj). This was a really terrific stay and we're looking forward to returning, exploring more of the area, and probably over-eating at brekkie again...

Central location, Father Andre very welcoming. Good size of room. The place was for a period a monastery and the walls all show biblical scenes. Certainly unusual accommodation in our experience. Easy free parking.
Nothing. Everything was nice, including breakfast.

Room is spacious and clean. There are shampoo and soap provided. Location itself is beautiful.
Brekafast- we were asked the day before when we want our breakfast to be served, since they bake domestic bread and want it to be fresh for us. Great! At the breakfast we got cold bread. Doesn’t matter, still great bread, but the rest - there was literally only jam and butter. One slice of ham, one boild egg, two slices of cheese… Coming from Balkans muself, I felt so sorry and ashamed. It ruined our experience in Ptuj. Oh, I even hat to ask to get the bread!
