A Bughina apartamentos

Muxia is a small fisherman village in the northwest of Spain, hence great seafood and a beautiful shore. Apartment is very contemporaneous, well equipped and great for couples overnight or weekend stay. We were coming from Fisterra and had a great time and pleasant stay - Carmen and her husband owns a butcher in the building with great chops and were very friendly !

The communication was a little sparse and lacked clarity. Since we were hopping from a place to another, wasn't an issue - but we arrived in Muxia only with the directions and no clear instructions about check-in - hence make sure you get there during commercial hours, when their shop is open for a quick check-in. Parking can be tricky, since there's no reserved spot - it was low season and we didn't have any problems with that. I'd also recommend a GPS locator since all villages in Iberic peninsula can be challenge to find - just part of the adventure ! Apartment was advertised as having a view to the sea, "Each unit includes a terrace or balcony with city or sea views, ensuring a pleasant stay", but there's not even a clear view of anything - since it's a second floor in a narrow street in the back alley - facing the next building 2 meters in the front. Check the picture - ruins the expectation having to go to a side kitchen window and stretch your neck to see a small line of water between 2 walls - bummer, not really necessary as left a bad taste to such a nice property ! I'd prefer not to have this disappointment when we first arrive. During the evening, the bodega below can be noisy, but it's convenient for drinks and snacks.

Fantastic location and the owners are so friendly. Perfect for a couple or solo traveller. This charming apartment was clean and comfortable with great amenities that had everything we needed. Would be happy to stay here again!

Great new studio apartment in a convenient location. Was very clean, kitchen had everything you need. Out host Carmen was super friendly & helpful. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.
