We had a small room next to the bedroom with kitchen facilities and a sofa

I thought it wd be a beautiful old picture house instead it felt like an extension . The carpet on the stairs was worn in places and there was a smell of damp. No text received & initially no one on the phone. Only got in because other guests arrived at same time and explained they had had an email.
