Cockroaches, Foul Smelling, greasy and depressing place. If you're a sewer dweller, this is for you.

Short answer: Leaving the place was the best thing The flat was big, the host sent a video showing where the keys were, convenience stores nearby, the AC worked. --- We arrived around 8pm and wanted to go out, it was not possible because the place was gross and we had to clean up, we were very tired and finished at 2am... At best it's a filthy - anxiety inducing place, at worst, it's haunted. We found these black wasps called evanid wasps which can be found around big cockroach nests. found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. During the night, we found 2 more. It was very depressing to get to a place like this. Felt rundown with a fine dust layer covering everything.

At best, this place is filthy and rundown. At worst, it’s haunted. Either way, you’re unlikely to sleep, and the cockroaches seem to have better living standards than the guests. The first thing you notice is the smell. The flat reeks of a filthy gym: damp sweat, stale armpits and general human despair. Then you meet the cockroaches, which were not exactly occasional visitors. We also encountered evaniid wasps, which we later researched and found are commonly associated with cockroach nests. An absolutely wonderful discovery when you're already wondering what is crawling around you. The whole experience was extremely anxiety-inducing. You constantly felt that something was crawling around you or under the bed, which made sleeping surprisingly difficult. We spent our first night cleaning the greasy kitchen, washing all the bedding and trying to ventilate the smell. The washing machine then made our clothes smell worse, because apparently even the washing machine had given up. The pans are broken, the gas stove is a puzzle, the blinds don't work, the mosquito screens don't work, and one night the electricity went out and we had to sort it out ourselves. To be fair, the owner cannot control everything. They cannot control the school directly outside the window, which starts making noise at around 8 a.m., or the generally depressing atmosphere of the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, these things still make a bad stay considerably worse. So if you finally manage to fall asleep at 2 a.m. after overcoming the anxiety of wondering what is crawling around the room, the school will kindly make sure you don't sleep past 8. Day after day, the combination of poor sleep, noise, anxiety and the generally miserable atmosphere simply drains you until you're exhausted and fed up. There were also neighbours who seemed rather interested in making it clear that we were “not from there". Nothing comes close to this.
