Short Term Rental Platforms are replacing the old split-fee model with a single host paid fee of 12%.

This fee applies to the entire booking subtotal, including nightly rates, cleaning fees, and pet charge etc.. The mandatory switch for all remaining independent hosts takes affect when the hosts agree but NLT end of October 2026.

Fee Model Differences:
Host-Only Fee ( The New Model): The Host pays 12% deducted directly from their payout. Guests see the total price upfront with no extra service fee at checkout.

Split-Fee (The Old Model): Hosts paid ~3% while guests paid an additional 14% to 20% at checkout. This option is being entirely phased out.
