This is an exceptional, quirky apartment with everything that you need for a holiday in Tavira. Christine has thought of everything from beach towels to water and wine and Portuguese custards on arrival to lots of local, useful information. The little balcony is a bonus for early morning tea and coffee as well as a glass of wine as the sun goes down. It was close to the local supermarket and some little local restaurants. It was only a short walk to the main tourist area - with shops and restaurants and sight seeing places. The ferry over to the beaches was cheap and easy to use, and again within walking distance of the apartment.
Nothing really! It was all well thought out and provided us with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay in Tavira.

Casa Cristina was a delight! The property is located right in a lovely residential area of Tavira. We felt like locals during our stay…walked for groceries and beverages, and across the bridge to enjoy the restaurants and lovely views. The Mediterranean Festival was taking place the weekend of our stay, so there was a vibrant atmosphere of music, craft stalls, and activities. Christine was a lovely, gracious and generous host and met us at the door upon our arrival. We loved having the terrace to sit out and enjoy the quaint and quiet neighbourhood.
