About this house rental

The Adam Macool House is a five bedroom 1800's Cape house, located in the heart of Provincetown, recently restored with historic details, yet providing modern comforts and amenities. The property is a quiet garden oasis, but only one block from the hubbub and excitement of Commercial Street. The first floor covered porch and the second floor deck run the entire length of the house. Each has a lounge area and a separate dining area. These outdoor living spaces are perfect for resting, eating, drinking a cup of coffee, hosting a cocktail hour, and enjoying people-watching. The third floor is the master bedroom suite with an open floor plan, has an air jet tub, and views to the north, south, east, and west. Views from the house and the decks include not only the garden and the cottage on the property, but also The Monument and the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House spire. We have traveled to Provincetown for over 20 summers now and there are always things that make or break a property- location, cleanliness and how does the bed sleep. This place has all three. The location across from A House is ideal but surprisingly very quiet and private. The property is kept spotless and you can tell that it’s well maintained. Nine of us stayed this trip and we all commented how comfortable all five beds in each of the five bedrooms were- true hotel quality. Couple that with a central A/C system (rare in my experience in Ptown) that worked beyond our Texan expectations and our host, Bernard’s spot on communication this place is truly a gem!

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back. The property was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great trip. The location couldn't have been better—right in the center of town, so we could easily walk everywhere and never had to worry about getting around. The place itself was even better than expected and felt like home right away. Bernard was also a fantastic host. He was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great local recommendations. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. Between the wonderful property, the unbeatable location, and Bernard's hospitality, this was one of the best vacation rental experiences we've had.
