Everything was great, and the staff were super lovely

The staff were wonderful, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room overlooked the infinity pool and had a beautiful view of the ocean. While the main road does run in front of the resort, which isn't ideal, it did not diminish our enjoyment, and we still had a lovely ocean view.
The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort and would gladly stay there again.

We had a pleasant stay at The Angkal Resort in Nusa Penida and particularly enjoyed spending our evenings at the property. The resort offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it a nice place to unwind and relax after a day of exploring the island. The sea-facing cottages are pleasant, although they are not quite as close to the sea as one might initially imagine. The overall setting is enjoyable, and the property has its own charm.
One of the highlights of our stay was the journey from the harbour to the resort. Although the distance is considerable, the drive itself is a wonderful experience, with scenic routes and beautiful views that make the journey worthwhile.
In terms of dining, the food options could certainly be more varied, and there is room for improvement in the overall culinary experience.
