Great spot away from town but close enough for easy access. Great room , loved watching the sunset sitting outside of our room .

Had a fantastic 3night stay at the lodge. The location was perfect to see lake Tekapo and do the Hooker Valley walk. Very close to shops and restaurants in Twizel. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful mountain views and great for watching planes/ helicopters/ skydivers. Rooms are very spacious, huge and comfortable bed, great walk in shower, nice to have chairs and table as well. Loved the skylarks singing outside. Air con/ fridge/ kettle in the room but also can use the shared kitchen for making tea/coffee and cooking your own meals.
Self service Breakfast items available in the morning. There's eggs, yogurt, milk, cereal, fruit, toast and jams..
Laundry available $10 per wash and dry.
We've enjoyed the place very much.
Book it while it's available as there's only 5 rooms

It’s funky location - amazing alpine scenery and unbelievable stars! Mary is a superb hostess and the casual approach to the dining room left me free to feel comfortable
Next time I would book more time!
