Upstairs, you will find a serene primary retreat with a queen-sized bed, along with a fourth bedroom containing two additional twins and a second shared full bath. With full central air conditioning throughout the entire home, you are guaranteed a crisp and comfortable night’s sleep even after the sunniest July days.
The heart of the summer experience happens outdoors on the stunning, brand-new deck. Whether you are sipping your morning coffee from the Keurig or hosting a sunset barbecue on the gas grill, the spacious deck and level backyard offer a private sanctuary for relaxation and play. When you aren't at the beach, you are only three and a half miles from the vibrant shopping and dining at Patriot Square. We loved staying here, it was perfect for our family. Highlights included the beach down the street and the ice cream store right across the street from the beach. The beach itself is small and lovely. The neighborhood is quiet and charming. We loved our lobster rolls at the Wooden Shoe (get the jumbo and split it, it’s enormous!). There’s a deli just down the street for lunch meats or sandwiches, a farm stand, and very short drive to a fantastic organic market (Rory’s).The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for a large family with plenty of bedrooms and a functional layout. A couple minor things we noticed: we couldn’t find a drip coffee pot (the description had both a keurig and drip listed) and there wasn’t a toaster. We bought some pods, not a big deal, but I do love a pot of coffee to save for iced coffee. We also bought a toaster and left it there for future use, so hopefully that’s a non-issue moving forward. The AC glitched out on us so it was freezing cold the first night and then didn’t work at all. They did send over some window units for the bedrooms, so we slept comfortably after the first two nights. These small inconveniences would definitely not deter us from staying there next year. I hope readers enjoy their time on Beaten Rd as much as we did.

The good: the beds were comfy, the washer dryer was new, wood floors were clean, fridge & stove are new, a/c worked well, walkable to the beach.
The bad: 1/2 of the windows were mildewy, bathrooms haven't been updated in 30 years. Linoleum in kitchen has holes in it and rust spots. Kitchen table was so worn. Old checkered tablecloth on it made me break out in hives. Not enough lamps.
