About this house rental
This attractive holiday home is set in Stenhamra, in the beautiful and tranquil area of Roslagen. This is a wonderful place located close to Stockholm. It offers beautiful views and untouched nature, a well as bathing, golfing and horse riding opportunities. The house is located only one kilometre from the beach, where you can go swimming. The beach is child-friendly and has a bathing dock. Fishing possibilities! Don't forget to get a fishing permit. The cottage was built in 2012 and is located in a peaceful, residential area. It features a bedroom and a mezzanine with two beds in each. You share the garden plot with the owner but have your own, enclosed area. There's a lovely lawn for activities, games and grilling. Roslagen offers all sorts of events and activities, one example is the boat race Roslagsloppet and the festival Roslagsfestivalen. In July you can enjoy the American Car Show. Or visit Norrtelje Jazzdagar and listen to beautiful jazz, after midsummer. Why not make a day trip to Åland or try your hand at kayaking? Or explore the caves of Gillberga gryt outside of Hallstavik! Catch a boat from Furusund to go sightseeing or take one all the way into Stockhom. Be sure to visit Drottningholms castle, the summer home of the royal family! It's is located next to the exotic castle Kina Slott and the delightful castle garden. In and around the city you will find plenty of things to do and see. The old viking town Birka is another great place to visit. We had a lovely stay at this well-equipped cottage, The location is fantastic, close to both nature and cultural attractions like Drottningholm Palace, The kitchen was a great plus, allowing us to cook meals together, Our favorite moment was having a barbecue in the garden while enjoying the beautiful sunset, Highly recommend!

We had such a great time here! The house was spacious, and the location was perfect for our day trips to Stockholm, Just a short walk to the beach, which was really nice for swimming, Coulda used a few more towels, but overall, no complaints!

Das Leitungswasser im Haus ist so stark eisenhaltig, dass es zum Kochen, Zähneputzen etc. nicht verwendet werden kann. Hierzu sollte Wasser gekauft werden, auch Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine haben einen starken braunen Belag durch das Wasser, evtl. einen eigenen Wasserkocher mitbringen.
