First Impressions:
Such a lovely stay right in the heart of Porto. If you are looking for a base in the city, pick this place without hesitation—they get so many things right.
Location & Safety:
The location is unbeatable. Almost every major attraction north of the Douro River—from the Six Bridges and local markets to the best restaurants—sits within a 4 to 5 km radius, just 5 to 15 minutes away. The neighborhood around Rua de Miguel Bombarda is vibrant and feels completely safe; even at 1:00 AM, you will see locals and travelers casually walking and hanging out on the street.
Rooms & Amenities:
We stayed here for four days in total: two nights in their standard room and two nights in the suite after extending our stay. Both options are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. Having an in-room kitchenette with a fridge, reliable AC, and a fully stocked bathroom makes a multi-day stay effortless.
Hospitality & Staff:
The team here is warm and welcoming. They stayed in touch with us constantly before our arrival to ensure a smooth check-in and went out of their way to make us feel at home. A special mention goes to Helen, with whom we had some wonderful conversations during our stay.
Pricing & Booking Tip:
We initially paid around €90/night for the standard room via Booking.com. When we decided to extend our stay by two days, we booked directly with the property and got upgraded to their suite for that same €90/night rate.
There is hardly anything to dislike about this property, honestly. Everything is good here. Porto is a vibrant, distinct city, and at this price point, Bombarda 451 is an absolute steal. Go for it without a second thought.

Decent apartment not very far from the city centre.
No mirror provided in the room. Wall paint flaking off, needs some maintainence.

Location was great, calm part of Porto, many nice cafes and creative spaces around. 20-30 minutes walk down to the city center was totally okay. This apartment is for you if you dont want to be in the middle of the center and feels more local atmosphere.

The first receptionist we met was extremely friendly and helpful, very pleasant person.
Very roomy place and is located in quite a "artsy" district.
Not really a hotel, more of an apartment renting experience.
After a day we noticed mold in the shower, when we told the other receptionist she said it would be looked at by the cleaning staff. When we came back we noticed it was still there and a sponge was added to our shower. It was probably a mistake and they told us it was but it felt a bit disrespectful.
After that it was still not clean so they sent another cleaning crew and said it was stained, which is just not true I could wipe it off with my fingers! overal just frustrating experience.
