About this cabin rental
The 'Northern Exposure' lodge is a unique log cabin with logs hand scribed and shipped from British Columbia. White pine finishes off the interior of the cabin with yellow pine rustic furniture.
The loft has a sitting area to view the beautiful outdoors of the Upper Peninsula. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a sitting bar that is centered to enjoy the living room fireplace and picture windows.
The deck has a BBQ grill and sitting area with fire pit for those beautiful summer and fall day's to enjoy. There is also a fire pit that sits directly in front of the cabin.
The cabin is located in the heart of the Upper Peninsula's #1 summer recreational area. With Autrain River and Lake just walking distance from the cabin. Lake Superior is less then one mile down the road. There are numerous hiking trails in the area.
Amenities: Fully furnished kitchen including plates. silverware, gas stove, refrigerator, coffee pot, etc.., linens and towels, paper products, BBQ Grill, T.V.

This cabin is cozy and the perfect place for a summer getaway. It offers the ideal balance of being secluded enough for peace and relaxation while still not feeling isolated. Being only a mile from the beach was amazing. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the generous supply of linens and towels was greatly appreciated. The fully stocked kitchen made preparing meals easy and added to the convenience of our stay. We happened to visit during a heat wave, so one evening was quite warm since the cabin does not have air conditioning. While we would have appreciated air conditioning and a washer and dryer, those amenities did not take away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable experience.Michael was an excellent host—responsive, accommodating, and he provided clear instructions that made finding and accessing the cabin simple. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Had a great stay at this amazing cabin. Had all the amenities we could want and then some. Location was great for visits to Pictured Rocks, Marquette, and all the beaches in between. Cabin was very clean, with lots of attention to detail. Even had board games for those rainy times.Highly recommend!

Excellent location for enjoying the area, especially with multiple day trips to the Pictures Rocks National Lakeshore and Munising. The cabin had everything you need to cook, relax, and enjoy. The fire pit area was a bonus. If I could wish one thing it would be for a washer and dryer but that was not a big deal. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
