Reo’s Ranch is located in the Alabama Hills in a stunning natural area located near the town of Lone Pine in California. Nestled against the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this unique landscape is surrounded by vast rounded granite rock formations, arches, and hills spread over an area of about 30,000 acres and formed over millions of years through the process of erosion, creating a surreal and picturesque environment.
The 3 story house sits on a 4 acre property with rock formations is cornered by Bureau of Land Management (BLM), giving guest unobstructed views with access to some of the most beautiful hikes and incredible panoramic views.
Relax and take in the beautiful surroundings on the large front porch furnished with comfortable chairs, sofa, rustic wooden table and propane BBQ. Enjoy quails and rabbits roaming freely, adding a touch of charm and tranquility to the scene with a stunning backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Inside offers 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The 2 large guest bedrooms and master bedroom all include access to balconies overlooking unique granite rock formations and stunning views of Owens Valley and Inyo Mountains. The loft includes a sitting area with a twin size trundle beds for kids.
The stunning large kitchen designed for culinary delights, drinks, and breathtaking views. This kitchen is designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, combining a spacious cooking area, an inviting island, and a comfortable dining space make it a perfect setting to prepare meals, entertain guests, and savor memorable moments in a breathtaking environment.
An open living room area with a wood fireplace and spectacular views of the Sierras is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of TV media options, board games, locally filmed DVD movies, personal record collection and books ensures that you have various entertainment choices to suit your preferences. The large downstairs basement area host a laundry room with full size washer and dryer, legal size pool table and ping pong table with access to the back 4 acre property. This back area includes a large outdoor glass dining table, 4 Adirondack Chairs, hammock and outdoor clawfoot bathtub (cold) with access to acres of unobstructed hiking.

Absolutely amazing stay once again! Mike and Diana are the best hosts we have ever had! This was our 4th stay and everything was great as always, however we had some car trouble and reached out to Mike. He had a mechanic at the house at 8:30 the next morning and he fixed the problem within an hour. Just one of many ways that show how much the Campbell's will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect!

Reo's Ranch exceeded our expectations in every way. Perched directly on the border of the Alabama Hills on BLM land, with Mt. Whitney filling the front yard horizon, the setting is simply unbeatable.The house itself is beautifully equipped. The kitchen is spacious and modern, stocked not only with every tool you'd need but thoughtful staples as well. The living areas are comfortable and inviting, and the bedrooms generous in size. We thoroughly enjoyed the upstairs master suite — a large, airy retreat with a balcony that opens onto sweeping panoramic views.We spent many hours on the front porch, which is outfitted with ample seating and two tables — the perfect perch for morning coffee and evening unwinding. The birdfeeders drew a steady parade of birds and squirrels that became part of our daily entertainment. Three full bathrooms made the logistics of a group stay effortless.Our only hiccup was a DVD player that wasn't cooperating, which sent us down a troubleshooting rabbit hole with the owner before we hit on the simple solution of plugging a laptop directly into the TV. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise flawless stay.We left already hoping to come back. Reo's Ranch is a genuinely enchanting place!

Lone Pine getawayThis is really a unique place located in the Alabama Hills… Beautiful view of the Whitney Mountain range. The kitchen is well stocked. The house is clean and the owners are easy to get a hold of when needed..It’s a 10 out of 10!

Great property and host. No hassle, everything you need is there - just bring your food & beverage (and fishing gear and clothes of course).The views are stunning. We enjoyed the house and its proximity to good fishing, fantastic hiking, climbing and exploring. Very private and quiet. The overall experience was fantastic.
