Peaceful spot. Theres just the 2 villas to rent and we’ve stayed in both. I like the layout if the top one with smaller pool. I think they are constructing 2 more but hopefully it won’t spoil the vibe crowding 4 villas together on the plot. The walk to the waterfall with little warungs to stop for refreshments is great - take cash and a hat. Community spirit alive and well in this village which really shows in how everyone has pulled together to restore paths and aqueducts after it was all washed away in floods last time we visited. Well done. True Bali vibes here
Its just a bit hard to turn around safely in the street when reversing in or out from the parking spot with scooters zipping past. Maybe a mirror to show oncoming traffic or consider widening park spot even just extra metre to angle in when planning the construction of the new accommodation either side of that tree in the carport.

The moment you walk in through the villa door you are greeted with a beautiful private sanctuary. I loved the whole experience there. I booked longer. The room is lovely and I had the BEST sleep. I loved how the curtains went all the way around and the room was completely dark at night and light filled during the day. Waking to the sound of the jungle was divine. The pool, the gazebo and kitchen were all used and appreciated. Great value for money.. I could move in.... Staff were so helpful and could not do enough to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible.

A beautiful hut in the middle of a rain forest. Walking distance to a waterfall, lovely pool looking over the lush green nature. When I wanted to change my reservation from 6 nights to 1 night (due to below listed issues), they were very easy.
There are only 2 rooms and there is no one (reception etc) staying permanently at the property at night. When the 2nd room is empty, you are alone in the jungle, which can be a bit discomforting if there is a storm outside and animals start to feel home in your bamboo house. During the day, housekeeper hangs out in the same garden, which is a bit too small.
Few points to mention:
1. Damp smell: I stayed in the bamboo hut. It smelled damp. Maybe in summer it’s dry and it is okay.
2. Check in: I arrived at 18:45 after riding a motorbike in heavy rain. I had informed them with my arrival time and I had asked if I should know anything about the check in. There was no one at the property. After I whatsapped them, the housekeeper came in 15 min.
3. Animals: I had asked if there are any animals that I should be aware of. No response was received. In 1 hour, a gecko fell on my bed from the ceiling. They changed my room but the canopy in the new room had no top cover. Later in the night, a cat has gone crazy right outside my door, at some point he was hitting the door…
